A documentary: 150 Thai students living in an alternative education school/orphanage in a remote jungle, prepare to honor their surrogate mother on Mothers Day.
A super Indiegogo project for a documentary that will be filmed in Thailand. If you have a spare $1, Marvin would be eternally grateful for the support. I’m totally in for a buck! :-)
Take a look and please share!
A new look - Dubai, Burj Al Arab, UAE 2014
Sights like this are getting more and more rare because demand for Rhino horn (made of keratin) is increasing at an alarming rate. The latest trend is coming from young, wealthy Vietnamese who believe a little bit of horn in their wine will cure a hangover.
The sanctuary in Uganda where this photo was taken, now has 80 armed rangers standing guard 24/7 over their 13 Rhino’s; South Africa is starting to inject their Rhino horns with poison in a desperate attempt to dissuade the end user from buying a potentially lethal product.
I know YOU don’t buy Rhino horn but… if you happen to be one of the individuals who might believe that keratin will cure a hangover and thus be tempted at a party, I leave you with this thought:
Rhino horn is the same thing as toenails.
